Quite honestly I see this lockdown as a personal break. I always have such a busy schedule that I quite often tend to run a bit too fast. It’s not good for me. And simultaneously I blame myself for not diving more into my passions. Not very productive either. . It took a week in lockdown for me to regain my energy and my drive. Slowly I’m beginning to tidy up my apartment and clearing out stuff I don’t need. Stuff I didn’t even know was there. . And with the ‘chores’ slowly being erased from the to do list it brings more time for passions and self love. I’m slowly diving back into the things I love doing and taking the time I need. “Sleep on it and everything will look different in the morning” - or something like that, right? . So many uncertainties and so many drastic changes are taking place these days. Some of my colleagues lost their jobs yesterday and it took a toll on me. I was exhausted yesterday so I ended up going to bed at 20 pm. . Inevitably it resulted in me waking up at 3 am this morning. I got up at 4 am. Then I decided to seize this opportunity to go down to the harbour and watch the sunrise. I don’t think I have ever done that before even though I live fairly close. . Watching the sun slowly rise and taking in all the colours. Listening to the seagulls. Enjoying the fresh air after a week in lockdown. It brought back my motivation.
